Re-Discovering The Corps of Discovery on The Yellowstone
A FREE Public Presentation by the Rochejohne Chapters of the Lewis and Clark Heritage Trail Foundation
Come learn about Clark’s journey down the Yellowstone River.
May 9, 2013 Walt Marten presented "Building William Clark's Canoes" at 7:00 PM in room 163 in McDonald Hall on the MSU-B campus. Martin has constructed canoes that bring to life Clark's Yellowstone trip. His work can be seen at Pompey's Pillar National Monument. His illustrated talk demonstrated how to build a dugout.
